Hairstyling in London
Hair and makeup from one chair — soft waves, a sleek blow-dry, a half-up or a proper occasion updo, styled to sit with the look and last the day.
Styled to sit with the look, built to last the day
Hair is half of how a look reads in the photographs — so I'd rather plan it with the makeup than treat it as an afterthought. We start from the occasion, the dress and the neckline, not a template: whether that calls for hair worn down and soft, a clean blow-dry, a half-up, or a low chignon for the evening.
It's the same approach as the makeup — quiet, unhurried, and finished to a standard that holds. Nothing lacquered into place; movement that still looks like your own hair, with just enough structure to survive a warm room and a long night.
-
Bridal & occasion hair
Soft waves, half-up styles, low chignons and updos — built around your dress, the day and how you want the photographs to read.
-
Hair and makeup together
Both done in one sitting, in one place, to one timeline — so the whole look is planned as a piece rather than handed between chairs.
-
Brought to you
I come to your home, hotel suite or the venue with everything the morning needs — irons, dryer, pins and product — and work calmly through the hours before.
-
Built to hold
Styled for the hours ahead, not just the first photograph — and, where it's booked, a few grips and a little product left with you for the night.
How we'll work together
- 01
Enquiry & consultation
We start with a relaxed conversation — your date, your venue, the mood you’re after — so everything that follows is built around you.
- 02
The trial
At your trial we perfect the look together, unhurried, until it feels unmistakably you and ready for the camera.
- 03
The day
On the morning I come to you — your home, hotel suite or venue — and create the look calmly and on schedule, so you can simply enjoy getting ready.
- 04
Touch-ups & longevity
Long-wearing formulas, and a touch-up kit where it’s booked, keep you looking like yourself from the first photograph to the last dance.
Most often booked alongside bridal makeup or for a special occasion — hair and makeup from one chair, to one timeline. For weddings, the hair is settled at the same trial as the makeup, so the morning holds no surprises.
A little background
A couple of notes from the journal, if you'd like to read on while you think about the look.
Tell me about the day
Send me the date, the place and a sense of what you're picturing — hair, makeup, or both. I read every enquiry myself, and the reply you get will be mine.
