Who I am
I’m Valeria (Lera Peslyak), a sole-trader makeup artist working across London, operating this website at makeup-artist-london.co.uk. I’m the data controller responsible for any personal information you share with me through this site.
What I collect
When you fill in the enquiry form, I collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, your event date and the details of the look or occasion you describe in your message. I only collect what you send me; there’s no hidden tracking of who you are.
Why I use it, and my lawful basis
I use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss your booking and arrange your makeup. The lawful basis is your consent (given when you submit the form) together with my legitimate interest in replying to and managing genuine enquiries. I will never sell, rent or trade your information, and I won’t add you to any marketing list without asking you first.
How long I keep it
I keep your enquiry only as long as I reasonably need it to handle your request and any resulting booking. If your enquiry doesn’t lead to a booking, I’ll delete it once it’s clearly no longer needed.
Cookies, spam protection & analytics
This site aims to keep things light. To stop spam and abuse of the enquiry form, I may use Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. I may also use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used — never to identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you. Just get in touch via the contact page and I’ll action your request. If you have a concern I can’t resolve, you’re entitled to raise it with the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The content on this website is provided for general information about my makeup services. Prices are quoted individually and may change; service descriptions are a guide, and nothing here forms a binding offer on its own.
Bookings & deposits
Bookings are confirmed separately, in writing, once we’ve agreed the date, location and service. A 20% deposit secures your date in the diary; the balance and any specific cancellation terms will be confirmed when you book.
