Editorial & Fashion Makeup Artist, London
Makeup for shoots and lookbooks, made on set with the photographer and stylist — skin that reads on camera, and a look that can sit anywhere from clean beauty to a stronger concept on brief.
Skin that reads on camera, a look that serves the brief
Editorial is a collaboration. I work with the photographer and stylist to a mood board or a brief, build the makeup around the lighting and the lens, and keep it consistent across the day so the edit holds together frame to frame.
The range runs from clean, luminous beauty — skin that looks like skin, just better lit — through to a stronger, more graphic concept when the story wants one. Either way it's built for how the camera actually reads a face, not just for how it looks across the studio.
-
Shoots & lookbooks
Beauty and fashion editorials, lookbooks, campaigns, portraits and test shoots — on location or in the studio across London.
-
Working to brief
From a mood board, reference or art direction — translated onto the face and kept consistent through the shot list.
-
Built for the lens
A finish made for the camera and the light you're shooting in, so the skin reads clean and true in the edit.
-
Calm on set
I come with a full professional kit, work quickly between looks, and keep the day moving — changes and touch-ups as the shoot needs them.
From brief to the edit
- 01
Enquiry & consultation
We start with a relaxed conversation — your date, your venue, the mood you’re after — so everything that follows is built around you.
- 02
The trial
At your trial we perfect the look together, unhurried, until it feels unmistakably you and ready for the camera.
- 03
The day
On the morning I come to you — your home, hotel suite or venue — and create the look calmly and on schedule, so you can simply enjoy getting ready.
- 04
Touch-ups & longevity
Long-wearing formulas, and a touch-up kit where it’s booked, keep you looking like yourself from the first photograph to the last dance.
I'm trained, qualified and fully insured for public liability, and used to working as part of a crew — calm on set, reliable on the call sheet, and discreet with the work before it's published. Happy to sign an NDA where a production needs one.
